Meet the Team — Inner Collective Therapists
MEET SARAH
Practice Owner- Masters Counselling Psychology
I have always been passionate about helping others understand who they are and why they respond and behave in the way they do. This is what led me to complete my Bachelor's Degree followed by my Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology. I wanted to help individuals process their difficulties while simultaneously learning to develop an understanding of themselves that would foster self-compassion and personal growth.
Through my work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other traumas, I have come to understand that some of the greatest barriers to healing are self-doubt and fear. The idea of opening up, trusting someone new, and allowing yourself to be vulnerable — especially after experiencing pain — takes tremendous courage. I have deep respect for anyone who reaches that place of recognizing that they should not have to walk this road alone, and who takes that brave first step toward support.
My approach to counselling is client centered; providing each person with a tailored and individual approach in a warm, respectful and safe environment. I not only want to provide resources and tools that can assist in improving the difficulty currently being experienced but also get to the root of the problem so that the solution can be all encompassing. I use modalities which include Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, and Emotion-Focused Therapy.
I look forward to helping you on this journey.

MEET CAROLYNN
practice owner- Masters Counselling Psychology
If you've found your way here it is likely because you want to understand more about yourself and how your experiences in relationships, both familial and otherwise, have shaped and perhaps even control, your current behaviour. You could also be a couple who are struggling to connect and understand one another, but feel devastated at the thought of giving up on your relationship.
Individually, Carolynn works primarily from a Relational Therapy approach to support you in feeling more content in your relationships and with yourself, with an added awareness regarding the impacts of trauma. With couples, Carolynn works to increase emotional intimacy by supporting the couple in recognizing patterns of disagreement and increase closeness.
Therapy should focus on collaboration between you, the individual/couple, and your therapist. If this has not happened for you in the past, you may be more hesitant to reach out for help again. Carolynn is eager to support you with this by helping you to process these experiences and tailor therapy to your individual needs. Reach out today!
I appreciate you,
Carolynn Michlowski
MEET VALERIE
Masters Counselling Psychology
Struggling with mental health can be a profoundly isolating and overwhelming experience. Yet, I firmly believe that the courage to seek help can dismantle the barriers that often hinder healing. My expertise spans a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, anger management, boundary development, and trauma recovery. I welcome clients of all genders and ages (14+). I take great joy in empowering my clients to set meaningful goals and equipping them with the tools and resilience needed to achieve lasting transformation.
Embracing a client-centered approach, I draw upon a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Mindfulness. By integrating these approaches, I help clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves, cultivate self-awareness, and unlock their full potential.
I am deeply convinced of the human capacity to triumph over adversity. Through my experiences, I have witnessed the transformative impact of taking initial steps towards challenging situations, leading to a profound sense of empowerment. I am eager to connect with you and offer support, acknowledging that your journey is distinct and worthy of compassion.
Looking forward to meeting you,
Valerie Martin

Do you frequently engage in negative self-talk? Are you bothered by how you think others see you? Do you worry excessively about the future? Are you finding it difficult to move on from past events? Does substance use interfere with your finances, work/school, relationships, and/or physical or mental well-being? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you might benefit from talk therapy with David Craig. David works closely, through supervisory support, with other experienced behavioural and emotionally focused therapists.
David is a Masters of Counselling Psychology practicum student with a BA in psychology and experience as an addiction counsellor. David uses a mix of cognitive behavioural therapy, positive psychology, solution-focused therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy to help you look at the link between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.
Even though it may not feel like it right now, chances are you are more powerful than you think! Together you and David can identify your existing resources and strengths, highlight what you are already doing right, and guide you to a more fulfilling life.
